Traffic Instructions

Plan Ahead & Arrive Early. Allow extra travel time as construction zones and event traffic may impact normal routes. Plan to arrive at least 60–90 minutes early to avoid peak congestion.

From East via I-80

  • Take I-80 to Exit 134 – Briggs St
  • Proceed south on Briggs St (~5 miles)
  • Turn right onto Laraway Rd or Schweitzer Rd
  • Follow signage to Chicagoland Speedway Parking

From West via I-80

  • Take I-80 to Exit 132A – IL-53 / Chicago St
  • Proceed south on IL-53 / Chicago St
  • Turn left onto Laraway Rd
  • Follow signage to Chicagoland Speedway Parking

From I-55 North / South

  • Take Exit 244 – Arsenal Rd / SE Frontage Rd
  • Continue east on Arsenal Rd
  • Turn left onto IL-53
  • Turn right onto W Schweitzer Rd
  • Follow signage to Chicagoland Speedway

From South via I-57

  • Take Exit 335 – Manhattan / Monee
  • Continue west on Manhattan-Monee Rd
  • Turn north onto IL-52
  • Turn west onto Schweitzer Rd or Laraway Rd
  • Follow roads east to Chicagoland Speedway

From North via I-355

  • Take I-355 South to I-80 West
  • Take Exit 134 – Briggs St
  • Proceed south on Briggs St (~5 miles)
  • Turn right onto Laraway Rd or Schweitzer Rd
  • Follow signage to Chicagoland Speedway Parking

  • Track Layout: The oval race track is shown at the top center, with turns labeled 1 through 4. The start/finish line and pit road are at the top side.

  • Infield: Inside the oval is the Infield Camping area and the Trackside and Non-Trackside Campgrounds.

  • Garages: Four garages are located near pit road, labeled Garage 1 through Garage 4.

  • Access Tunnels:

    • A Pedestrian Tunnel near Turn 1 connects the infield to outside areas.

    • A Vehicle Tunnel near Turn 3 allows cars and RVs to enter the infield.

  • Camping Areas Outside the Track:

    • Skyline Terrace – located outside Turn 2, along the backstretch.

    • Speedway Ridge Campground – runs parallel to the backstretch, outside the track.

    • Lower Ridge Campground – located below Speedway Ridge.

    • Lakeside Campground – located south of the track, around a pond.

  • Entrances and Check-In:

    • Gate 6 (RV/Camping Entrance) – located at the bottom center, off Laraway Road.

    • RV Check-In – on East Road, before Speedway Ridge Road.

  • Plazas:

    • G Plaza – near Speedway Ridge.

    • Turn 3 Plaza – near Turn 3 Vehicle Tunnel.

  • Legend: Symbols mark RV Park (trackside and non-trackside), Speedway Ridge,  Lower Ridge, Lakeside, electrical and water hook-ups, info center, and lost & found.

Overview

Seating Sections

  • The grandstands are curved and divided into multiple sections from left to right:

    • South Tower (Turn 1) to North Tower (Turn 4)

  • Sections are labeled alphabetically and numerically, ranging from A to T and 101 to 428, moving left to right.

  • The Main Tower is centered above sections 401 to 412.

  • The Start/Finish Line is in front of sections 403 to 407.

Color-Coded Seating Zones

  • Zones are color-coded by section:

    • Purple, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, Pink

    • Color changes help identify different seating areas and levels.

Levels & Amenities

Concourse Level (Bottom Tier)

  • Amenities include:

    • First Aid Stations: Located near Sections A and T

    • Restrooms: Spread throughout, especially under sections A, C, E, G, I, K, M, O, Q, and S

    • ATMs: Near Sections G, J, M, and Q

    • Elevators: Near Sections A, H, M, and T

    • Water Fountains: Scattered along the concourse level

Mezzanine Level (Middle Tier)

  • Amenities include:

    • Restrooms: Located between sections A–H and M–T

    • Elevators: Located near Sections A, H, M, and T

    • Water Fountains: Same as elevator locations

Main Tower (Top Tier)

  • Sits centrally above the grandstands from Section 401 to 412

  • Likely reserved for VIP, press, or premium seating

  • Continue on Manhattan-Monee Road for approximately 12–15 miles toward Joliet 
  • Turn right (north) onto IL-52
  • Turn left (west) onto W Schweitzer Rd or Laraway Rd 
  • Follow Schweitzer Rd or Laraway Rd east to Chicagoland Speedway

From West via I-355

  • Take I-355 South toward I-80
  • Merge onto I-80 W toward Iowa
  • Continue on I-80 W to Exit 134 – Briggs St 
  • Proceed south on Briggs St (~5 miles)
  • Turn right onto Laraway Rd or Schweitzer Rd
  • Follow signage to Chicagoland Speedway Parking
