Chase Elliott stepped into the iconic Hendrick Motorsports No. 24 Chevrolet SS this year following the retirement of four-time NASCAR premier series driver, Jeff Gordon. Elliott has excelled quickly earning the 2016 Daytona 500 Pole Award. The 20-year-old driver is the son of NASCAR Champion Bill Elliott and was the 2014 NASCAR XFINITY Series Champion. In the July of that same year, Chase took the checkered flag at Chicagoland Speedway in the 300.

Chase Elliott will also appear in the Green Flag Garage this September for a question-and-answer session. The Green Flag Garage is a premium fan experience, located in the heart of the infield, bringing fans into the center of the action ahead of the first race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

Located in the NASCAR XFINITY Series garage (Turn 1), the Green Flag Garage experience includes a Sprint Cup Garage Tour, driver appearance, lunch and refreshments and a Fan Zone Pit Pass ($50 value). The Fan Zone Pit Pass grants access to the Infield Fan Zone for the drivers’ red carpet walk, up-close viewing of the pre-race concert and driver introductions, driver question-and-answer sessions, pre-race Gatorade Victory Lane access and more. It also serves as a pit pass, your chance to visit your favorite driver’s pit box and view tech inspection before the start of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

Open on Sunday, Sept. 18 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., the Green Flag Garage gives fans a chance to start race day near NASCAR’s teams and drivers. Due to space restrictions, only a limited number of tickets will be sold. The Green Flag Garage sold out in 2014 and 2015 so don’t delay!

Tickets can be purchased online at, by calling 888-629-RACE, through the Chicagoland Speedway mobile app,  or by visiting the Chicagoland Speedway Administrative office Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.
