Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway Extends Partnership with MillerCoors as the Official Beer Partner

JOLIET, Ill. (May 14, 2019) — Chicagoland Speedway and MillerCoors announced today that they have reached a multi-year extension to continue a long-standing exclusive category marketing partnership. MillerCoors, which has been a partner of Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway for over two decades, will serve as the official beer partner.

“MillerCoors has become synonymous with Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway since the partnership began in 1998,” said Chicagoland Speedway President Scott Paddock. “We’re excited to continue this longstanding partnership and to provide racing fans with a wide range of MillerCoors products throughout the season.”

As part of the agreement, Miller Lite will have at-track prominence, continued brand integration and dedicated fan experiences at the Miller Pit Stop in Champions Park within Chicagoland Speedway and the Miller Rooftop Deck, located at the Route 66 Dragstrip.

To celebrate, MillerCoors is hosting activities in the campground featuring prizes and giveaways throughout the weekend.

MillerCoors will remain present throughout the racing season as sponsor of Route 66 Raceway’s esteemed Miller Lite Rooftop Deck and the Miller Lite Pit Stop in Chicagoland Speedway’s Champions Park.  In addition, Miller Lite will now appear as the presenting sponsor of NBC’s Sports Talk Live weekly segments with Scott Paddock, as well as in a weekly campaign featured on Chicagoland Speedway’s social channels, highlighting the winner of each week’s race, along with special Miller Lite giveaways and prizes.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Chicagoland Speedway will take place in June as part of the four-race weekend June 27 – June 30. The weekend will kick off on Thursday, June 27 with the ARCA Menards Series Bounty 150 followed by NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series Camping World 225 under the lights on Friday night. On Saturday, the NASCAR Xfinity Series Camping World 300 will hit the track as the precursor to Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Camping World 400 showdown.
