INBOUND CORRIDORS
A key element in the traffic plan is balancing the traffic flow among the parking lot entrances. The four geographical areas identified on the map were developed based on the zip codes of our ticket buyers and are designed to "load" the four corners of the facility with an equal number of vehicles. Again, you will have the best luck following the corridor identified in the geographic area from which your route originates. Priority will be given to people utilizing the traffic plan corridors as opposed to those who create their own traffic plan!

The "Red Line"
North-West Corridor
Designed to accommodate traffic arriving from the north and west, the Red Line relies heavily on southbound I-55. Special Note: Do not be distracted by directional signs on I-55 for "Joliet Road," "Joliet," or "Historic Rt. 66." All of these routes lead through congested commercial and retail districts and are subject to drawbridge lifts. All southbound I-55 traffic should stay on I-55 until eastbound I-80 (Exit 250 A), then proceed to southbound Illinois Hwy 53 (exit 132 A). The race track will be in sight!

The "Green Line"
North-East Corridor
Designed to accommodate traffic from the north and east, the Green Line relies heavily on westbound I-80. Westbound I-80 traffic should exit on U.S. Highway 30 (exit 137), turn left and travel briefly for 1 mile on westbound U.S. Hwy 30 to Gouger Rd. Turn left and proceed south on Gougar Rd to Laraway Rd. Turn right on Laraway Rd. The race track will be in sight!

The "Blue Line"
South-East Corridor
Designed to accommodate traffic from the south and east, the Blue Line relies on I-57. Exit I-57 to westbound Wilmington Rd (exit 327). Take Wilmington Rd to northbound U.S. Hwy 45. Take U.S. Hwy 45 to northbound Hwy 52. Take U.S. Hwy 52 north to Schweitzer Rd. The race track will be in sight!

The "Yellow Line"
South-West Corridor
Designed to accommodate traffic from the south and west, the Yellow Line relies on northbound I-55. Exit I-55 at River Rd. (exit 241). Turn left on River Rd and travel east to Illinois Hwy 53. Turn left on Illinois Hwy 53 and travel north to Schweitzer Rd. The race track will be in sight!

OUTBOUND CORRIDORS
All four corridors will be utilized for outbound traffic, simply reversing the inbound pattern. Remember at many intersections on the corridors there will be "no choice" traffic movement. This is designed to keep traffic from circling back and compounding traffic on other corridors. In every instance, if you follow the corridor, it will lead you to an Interstate Highway and from there to your ultimate destination.
