The Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup will begin at Chicagoland Speedway on Sunday, September 15.  Last year's GEICO 400 saw a riveting finish with Tony Stewart taking the checkered flag for the third time at Chicagoland Speedway, becoming the track's all-time win leader and ultimately propelling him to a thrilling third NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship.

Chase weekend kicks-off with the Dollar General 300 Powered by Coca-Cola.  Making their second visit to Chicagoland Speedway in 2012, the stars of the NASCAR Nationwide Series will battle door-to-door for 300-miles of high stakes racing.

Local favorite Justin Allgaier drove to Gatorade Victory Lane in the Inaugural running of the STP 300 in 2011.  With the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series taking the weekend off, the NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will take center stage at Chicagoland Speedway.

Summer night racing returns to Chicagoland Speedway with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.  Notorious for producing some of the most exciting racing in NASCAR, the trucks will race under the lights on Saturday night, July 21, following the ARCA Racing Series, who will compete earlier in the day.
