Below is the information which will make your visit here at Chicagoland Speedway truly memorable.
à Read our user-friendly interactive website before arriving at the Speedway! It offers crucial information about the upcoming race weekend. Visit us as www.chicagolandspeedway.com & download the 2011 Fan Guide located on the home page.
à There are plenty of fun activities to check out while visiting Chicagoland Speedway so arrive early, wear comfortable shoes, stay hydrated and remember sunscreen!
à The following items are welcome:
o One soft-sided bag/cooler, no larger than 6x6x12 inches (please, no hard-sided coolers in the grandstands)
o Backpacks no larger than 18x18x4 inches
o Cell phones & pagers
o Cameras, binoculars, scanners & headsets
o Seat cushions
o All items brought through a grandstand gate will be subject to inspection at any time.
à The following items will not be aloud inside:
o Glass containers
o Firearms, weapons of any kind, sharp objects, alcohol or fireworks.
o Umbrellas, large flags, poles or anything which can obstruct views of others
o Drugs, unless prescribed by a medical physician and medically necessary
o Strollers, bikes, roller blades, wagons, scooters, skateboards & folding chairs
o Hydration backpacks, squirt guns or spray bottles
o Pets- unless identified as an ADA escort.
o Inappropriate attire
à Parking
o Parking here at Chicagoland Speedway is always free. If ever you are asked to pay for parking, you are NOT in a Chicagoland Speedway parking lot.
o Parking lots open Saturday, June 4 @ “Early-Bird” lots open at 7 A.M. Lots A,B,C,D and P open at 10 A.M. Grandstands open at 12 noon.
o Accessible Parking is available in the North end of Lots C and D.
o Cars- use lots A-B-C-D-E-F
o Motorcycles- lot P
o Suite/Chalet- lot P
o Preferred Parking- lot P
o Please note that all inbound traffic will be directed to nearest parking lot.
à Things to keep in mind
o The Smoke-free Illinois Act prohibits smoking in the grandstands during events. Please be respectful of others and utilize the designated smoking area located under the grandstands in the mezzanine/concourse levels
o ATMS are located throughout the concourse level
o Chicagoland Speedway Pit Stores are located in the infield
o First Aid stations are located at section 112 and 411 on the concourse level of grandstands.
o Tune into 1340 WJOL-AM for wall-to-wall weekend coverage of Chicagoland Speedway events, including regular traffic updates.
o Chicagoland Speedway offers free child-find bracelets available at all Info Centers located throughout the park.
· Kids Club - Kids ages 5 to 12 can sign up for a free Kids Club membership powered by Radio Disney online @ www.chicagolandspeedway.com or visit the Kids Club Kidzway in Champions Park to register. The Kids Club includes free races for kids, member only offers, invitations to mascot events, the birthday club and much more!
· Kidzway in Champions Park - Kidzway is a jam-packed fun zone for children 12 and under!
· Visit Champion’s Park - recognized as the most impressive areas on the motorsports circuit. This is where you will find race fans in the hours leading up to the race!
· Pit-Road- If you have a Pre-Race Pit Pass you’ll want to get to Pit Road early to get behind the scenes and gain access to the track surface, see Gatorade Lane and the Infield Pit Pass to see it all! Visit the website for details, times and restrictions.
· Get your Racing Scanner - If this is your first time you’ll definitely want to rent a scanner to be able to track your favorite drivers! Scanners are available at vendors located in merchandise midway outside the grandstands. Scanners allow you to hear the two-way communications between the driver, crew chief and spotters. Find out what REALLY happened!
· Make sure you find your seats early to witness the National Anthem along with an amazing Flyover by our nation’s finest, following the Grand Marshal. The ARCA Messina Wildlife Animal Stopper 150 Race starts at 5 PM. The Nationwide Race begins at 7 PM.
· Be sure to stay to catch the multi-platinum alternative-rock band, Puddle of Mudd perform live Champion’s Park directly following the race!
· Levy Resturants and Chicagoland Speedway have teamed up to bring you the best
mouth-watering items, so you know no matter what you may choose, you’re getting great quality food.
