Fans invited to watch testing from 10 am - 2 pm June 6


JOLIET, Ill. (May 23, 2017) — Chicagoland Speedway announced today that fans can attend this year’s Goodyear Tire Test on Tuesday, June 6 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The sport’s top teams and drivers will hit the pavement prior to the September 17 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Tales of the Turtles 400 at Chicagoland Speedway.

Free admission to the Goodyear Tires Test is available to fans that have purchased a ticket to the Tales of the Turtles 400 at Chicagoland Speedway on Sunday, September 17. Fans that have not purchased their tickets for this summer’s September 14-17 weekend will receive free admission by donating $10 to R.A.C.E., a donor advised fund of The NASCAR Foundation and a 501(c)3 charitable entity.

Those who plan on attending the test can enter the facility through Gate 1 off West Schweitzer Road starting at 10 a.m. Once inside the facility, fans will be directed to park along the Midway directly in front of the main box office. The box office will be open to accommodate fans looking to purchase tickets prior to the start of thel test.

Hard copy tickets for the Tales of the Turtles 400 have not been mailed. All purchasers will be emailed a voucher to print and present at the gate upon arrival.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Chicagoland Speedway will take place on Sept. 17 as part of the four-race weekend Sept. 14-17. The weekend will kick off on Thursday, Sept. 14 with the ARCA Racing Series followed by NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, under the lights on Friday night. On Saturday, Sept. 16, the NASCAR XFINITY Series will hit the track as the precursor to Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series showdown, the first race in the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.
