Joliet, Ill. – September 19, 2015 – Kyle Busch narrowly escaped Matt Kenseth during the final laps in tonight’s Furious 7 300, giving him his fourth career victory at Chicagoland Speedway. Busch extended his series record to 74 victories in NASCAR XFINITY Series races. Outside of his four wins, he has eight NXS top-10 finishes out of 12 appearances at Chicagoland Speedway.

Tonight’s win recalls 2008 in which Busch completed a Chicagoland Speedway NASCAR XFINITY-NASCAR Sprint Cup Series sweep. When asked about accomplishing a similar weekend finish this year, he stated, “You try to take what we learned today from our XFINITY Series car in practice and what it did in the race and make the same adjustments and better adjustments in the cup car for tomorrow’s race.”

After leading a total of 84 laps, Kenseth finished second with Darrell Wallace Jr. in third. Wallace posted a career-best finish during his second top-10 finish at Chicagoland Speedway. This race also marked his fourth top-10 finish during the 2015 season. Paul Menard, who will begin his first Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup during tomorrow’s myAFibRisk.com 400 placed fourth with Ty Dillon following in fifth.

Tomorrow’s myAFibRisk.com 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series showdown, the first race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, will take place at 2 p.m. CT.
