Joliet, Ill. – Sept. 13, 2014 – Kevin Harvick powered his No.5 Jimmy John’s Freaky Fast ride into victory lane on Saturday for his fourth NASCAR Nationwide Series win this season and his fifth overall top finish at Chicagoland Speedway.

Kyle Busch dominated a large portion of the race, leading 141 of 200 laps after starting from the third position. Things changed for Busch on a caution with just under 50 laps to go, as he elected to take four fresh tires to Harvick’s two. Busch dropped from 1st to 16th on the ensuing restart, and was unable to drive back up through the field to earn the win.

“To win the Freaky Fast 300 with all the Jimmy John’s people that were here is pretty cool,” said Harvick, who will look to earn the victory in Sunday’s MyAFibStory.com 400, the first race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

Harvick led 43 laps overall, including the final 39, en route to victory. Kyle Larson finished second, followed by Busch, Ryan Blaney and Trevor Bayne.

The MyAFibStory.com 400 will air live on ESPN at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 14. The race will also be broadcast on the WatchESPN app, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, with additional coverage on NASCAR.com.
