SHOW OFF YOUR CLASSIC CAR AT THE RALLY, ROCK AND RACE WEEKEND CAR SHOW PRESENTED BY ARMOR ALL
Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway are delighted to announce Armor All as the official sponsor of its classic car show during the Rally, Rock and Race weekend, three days of thrilling NASCAR action, rocking music, and off-road racing, July 19-21.
Car enthusiasts, start your engines! The Armor All car show will drive in to Champions Park at Chicagoland Speedway on Sunday, July 21st, prior to the green flag for the STP 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race.
Fans and car clubs will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to come show off their classic beauties in front of thousands of race fans and car fanatics. All cars must be street legal, show-quality vehicles from 1979 and earlier.
Armor All will reward the top five entries with an assortment of Armor All merchandise from their current product line. Additionally, the top five winners will be awarded an on-track parade lap and VIP package during the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup weekend this September.
The five lucky winners will be chosen by voting among race fans and car enthusiasts in attendance to determine which classic cars are the Best in Show. The top five vehicle owners will receive access to the drivers’ meeting, Pit and Infield Fan Zone passes, upgraded seats in section A, a track lap and more during Chicagoland’s September race weekend.
To enter the car show, participants must meet the requirements listed on the show's webpage and then email their vehicle's information (with a photo) or call Mike at 815-722-4205. The car show will be limited to 200 entries, which will be selected at random provided they meet entry criteria. Once the 200 entries are chosen, there will be a $30 application fee. The full set of rules and regulations are available on the registration page, including tailgating and commercial messaging restrictions.
Armored AutoGroup Inc., headquartered in Danbury, Conn., is primarily comprised of the Armor All, STP and Tuff Stuff brands. The current Armor All product line of protectants, wipes, tire and wheel care products, glass cleaners, leather care products and washes is designed to clean, shine and protect interior and exterior automobile surfaces. The STP product line of oil and fuel additives, functional fluids and automotive appearance products has a broad customer base ranging from professional racers to car enthusiasts and "Do-it-Yourselfers". “The Armored AutoGroup strives to stay at the forefront in leading innovations for the car care industry,” said Jake Fahsbender, Brand Manager for Tuff Stuff. “We’re pleased to debut the newest additions to our Tuff Stuff line at AAPEX this year to showcase our range of products that are efficient not just for auto, but home and boat care as well.”
The Rally, Rock and Race weekend will be headlined by the STP 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Sunday, a rare off weekend for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Following the STP 300, the future stars of NASCAR will take to the 1.5-mile oval in the ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards. The weekend also features two nights of the Traxxas TORC Series, complete with Baja-style off-road racing at Route 66 Raceway’s dirt oval.
