(TEMPERANCE, Mich. – May 23, 2013) – The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards’ annual visit to Chicagoland Speedway will once again be called the Ansell ActivArmr® 150.

Officials from Ansell Protective Products, the ARCA Racing Series and Chicagoland Speedway made the announcement today. The Ansell ActivArmr® 150 will be Sunday, July 21.

The ARCA Racing Series will be run in conjunction with the NASCAR Nationwide race, held on the same day.

“We’re excited to welcome Ansell back as an entitlement partner for a second consecutive year. This partnership truly fits hand in glove,” said Scott Paddock, Chicagoland Speedway president. “We look forward to working with Ansell to highlight their ActivArmr brand to thousands of race fans during our Rally, Rock and Race weekend this July at the Ansell ActivArmr 150.”

Ansell previously sponsored the ARCA Racing Series events at Chicagoland in 2009, 2010 and 2012. The company sponsored a race at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis in 2011.

The race will be stop No. 11 of 21 on the 2013 ARCA Racing Series schedule. For the complete series schedule, visit www.arcaracing.com.

Ansell is the Official Safety Glove of the ARCA Racing Series and is part of the Menards Pole Award presented by Ansell. Ansell also sponsors the No. 44 car of Frank Kimmel, the second-winningest driver in ARCA Racing Series. Kimmel won his 77th all-time ARCA race at Talladega Superspeedway May 3. He is the current point leader and is in pursuit of his 10th series championship.

The marketing program is anchored by a business-to-business relationship between Ansell, the world's largest manufacturer of protective gloves and clothing, and Menards, the nation's third largest home improvement retailer. The sponsorship launched the Ansell line of hand protection products and made the product available for purchase in over 250 Menards stores in 2010.

The ARCA Racing Series will hold its first practice at Chicagoland from 4:10 to 4:50 p.m. and again 6:35 to 7:45 p.m. Saturday, July 20. Menards Pole Award presented by Ansell qualifying will be at noon on Sunday, July 21, with the race scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.

The Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) is among the leading auto racing sanctioning bodies in the country. Founded in 1953 by John and Mildred Marcum, the organization administers more than 100 events each year in multiple racing series, including the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, the ARCA/CRA Super Series, the ARCA Truck Series and the ARCA Midwest Tour, plus weekly racing at Toledo and Flat Rock Speedways.
