CHICAGOLAND SPEEDWAY TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW
Joliet, Ill. – February 24, 2013 – Tickets for Chicagoland Speedway’s 2013 season, including the start of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, are on sale now. From now through April 1, fans have the opportunity to get the best race admission ticket prices of the season. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ChicagolandSpeedway.com or by phone at 888-629-RACE.
Off the track, Chicagoland Speedway is introducing the new Pit and Infield Fan Zone Experience, which is available for single-day or weekend purchase. The Pit and Infield Fan Zone Experience features an Infield Fan Zone with music and entertainment, pre-race concert access, NASCAR personality Q-and-A sessions, tech inspection viewing areas, an up-close look at driver introductions and on Sunday of the GEICO 400, access onto pit road.
Camping spots are also now available, with additional benefits worth nearly $300 for full-season campers. Campers with full-season admissions will have their choices of a bag of ice or bundle of firewood, a GEICO camping flag (for the September weekend), free tow vehicle parking, an invitation to a camper welcome party, a $150 credit towards the Richard Petty Driving Experience (with purchase of GEICO Ridge or Infield Admission only) and passes for every race to the Pit and Infield Fan Zone Experience (valued at $125).
Returning for the third consecutive year, the GEICO 400 will once again kick-off the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup at Chicagoland Speedway – Sept. 13-15, 2013. The triple-header weekend begins with Sprint Cup qualifying on Friday afternoon prior to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series racing under the lights on Friday night. On Saturday, Sept. 14, the Dollar General 300 Powered by Coca-Cola NASCAR Nationwide Series race will hit the track as the precursor to Sunday’s GEICO 400.
The Rally, Rock and Race weekend will be headlined by the STP 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Sunday, July 21, a rare off weekend for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Following the STP 300, the future stars of NASCAR will take to the 1.5-mile oval in the ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards. The weekend also features two nights of the Traxxas TORC Series, complete with Baja-style off-road racing at Route 66 Raceway’s dirt oval.
