Chicagoland Speedway to Offer the Ultimate “Dash 4 Cash” Fan Experience
Online contest will pair a fan with each “Dash 4 Cash” driver competing for $100,000 at Chicagoland Speedway in the STP 300
Joliet, Ill. – June 4, 2012 – Through Sunday, June 24, fans can enter to win “The Ultimate Dash 4 Cash Experience” at Chicagoland Speedway by visiting the Chicagoland Speedway web site. Four winners will be randomly selected to receive two tickets to the STP 300, the second race of the “Dash 4 Cash” program, on Sunday, July 22, as well as a VIP experience. The VIP experience includes a meet and greet with the assigned “Dash 4 Cash” driver, a tour of their driver’s garage, admission to the driver’s meeting and pre-race credentials.
The four contestants will be assigned to one of the four eligible drivers with the winner receiving an additional prize package for the Dollar General 300 on Sunday, September 15, at Chicagoland Speedway. The prize pack will include waving the green flag during qualifying, two preferred seating area tickets and two tickets to the Checkered Flag Fan Zone fan hospitality area.
“Since its inception in 2009, the ‘Dash 4 Cash’ program has provided fans with a mid-season competition that truly raises the stakes and creates a race within a race,” said Scott Paddock, Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway president. “We thought it was only fitting to include several of our fans in the excitement, and allow them to experience the NASCAR Nationwide Series in an unparalleled manner.”
The “Dash 4 Cash” program began in 2009 and rewards the highest-finishing eligible driver in four designated races with a $100,000 bonus above and beyond the race purse. In four select races during the 2012 season, including July 22 at Chicagoland Speedway, four drivers who have earned the designation to compete for the $100,000 per-race bonus will hit the track in the “Dash 4 Cash.” The “Dash 4 Cash” winner in the designated races does not have to win the race; he or she simply must be the highest-finishing eligible NASCAR Nationwide Series driver in the race.
As part of a larger contest, race fans can also enter to win an all-expense paid trip to the final “Dash 4 Cash” race on Aug. 4 and a chance at $100,000. To enter, fans should visit www.nascar.com/dash4cash.
