GEICO ANNOUNCED AS EVENT TITLE SPONSOR OF FIRST RACE IN THE CHASE FOR THE NASCAR SPRINT CUP AT CHICAGOLAND SPEEDWAY

Joliet, Ill. - July 6, 2011 - Chicagoland Speedway today announced GEICO as the event title sponsor of the September 18 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. The GEICO 400 is the first race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup – the first of ten "playoff" style races in the quest for the 2011 championship.

With unprecedented support from NASCAR, broadcast partner ESPN and event title sponsor GEICO, this September marks the first year that Chicagoland Speedway will kick off the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

GEICO and Chicagoland Speedway will promote the GEICO 400 through extensive national, regional and local marketing campaigns. International Speedway Corporation, parent company of Chicagoland Speedway, already features GEICO-themed campgrounds at seven of its 13 racetracks.
