Speedway Provides Children Exclusive Membership Opportunities Including the Naming of the Official Mascot
Joliet, Ill. – April 15, 2011 – Kids now have the opportunity to interact with Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway like never before with the launch of the Kids Club sponsored by Radio Disney AM 1300 Chicago, part of the #1 radio network for kids, tweens and families. Designed for the speedway’s young racing fans, children between five and 12 years of age can now connect with Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway to stay updated on all the latest news, as well as be able to take part in exclusive race weekends and other special events.
Chicagoland Speedway’s Kids Club is also introducing the fastest land animal, the cheetah, as the official mascot. Between now and April 30, kids have the chance to submit their name idea for the official mascot of Kids Club by visiting www.ChicagolandSpeedway.com . The winning name will be selected on May 2, and the winner will receive a private party at Chicagoland Speedway hosted by the mascot they named!

Sponsored by Radio Disney, the Kids Club membership is free and will provide a child with an official membership card, Kids Club gift, special ticket offer for parents, Kids Club member-only race weekend activities, events and privileges, Kids Club e-newsletter, contests with great prizes and a chance to win great race weekend experiences.
If accompanied by an adult who has purchased a ticket, kids 12 and under are admitted free to select events at Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway which includes the following for the 2011 season:

Celebrating its 10th year of racing, Chicagoland Speedway is a 1.5-mile, paved oval race track located in Joliet, Ill. The track has hosted racing events of the major U.S. racing series, and currently conducts races in all three NASCAR national series, including the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, the NASCAR Nationwide Series, and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
