JOLIET, Ill. – Are you ready for August Race Weekend at Chicagoland Speedway®?

Here’s a quick one-look at special events you’ll want to know about.

 

WEDNESDAY (Aug. 25, 2010)

 

3-11 p.m. (approximately): TRAXXAS TORC SERIES PRES. BY AMSOIL

$20 adults; $15 juniors (age 5-12); FREE for children 4 and under

Dirt Oval, Route 66 Raceway (Across the street from Chicagoland Speedway)

Day 1 of two exhilarating nights of off-road racing that feature extreme athletes like Jeremy McGrath. Kyle Busch, one of NASCAR®’s most versatile drivers, will make his Off-Road TORC debut here. Event features the following and more: Super Stock Trucks; Traxxas PRO Light Trucks; Kumho Tires PRO 4x4 Trucks; Super Buggy and AMSOIL PRO 2WD Trucks. An autograph session with Traxxas TORC drivers will be at 6:30 p.m. in the Midway.

 

THURSDAY (Aug. 26, 2010)

 

4-7 p.m. – IZOD IndyCar® Series Autograph session.

Woodfield Mall, 5 Woodfield Mall, Schaumburg, Ill. 60173

Highlights include: An autograph session with IZOD IndyCar drivers in the field of the PEAK Antifreeze and Motor Oil Indy 300 (6-7 p.m.); Pit Stop Challenge demonstrations (4-7 p.m.); IZOD IndyCar simulators; Display of historic Indy 500-winning race cars; IZOD IndyCar Series Honda pace car display.
