(Joliet, Ill. - July 10, 2008) Chicagoland Speedway announced today that it has sold out its Track Pack season tickets for the 2008 racing season, as the facility prepares for the first-ever night races at the 1.5-mile tri-oval.

"Being able to sell out our first-ever night race at Chicagoland Speedway is something we are very proud of," said Matthew Alexander, president of Chicagoland Speedway. "To see all of the excitement and anticipation from our fans after we announced the installation of lights last year was a great feeling. And now to see all of the hard work and dedication come together for a sold out event is something that is truly gratifying. Not only will our fans be able to enjoy racing under the lights, but they will also be able to be a part of another historic event at Chicagoland Speedway.”

In addition to the sold-out grandstands, Chicagoland Speedway also filled up its campground areas, including its Infield RV parking (which sold out in 24 hours) and Old Spice Campgrounds.

"After last season, we saw a tremendous increase in demand for more RV parking," Alexander said. "In efforts to fulfill those needs, we decided to add 205 RV spots to our Old Spice Campgrounds before the start of this season, which ended up lasting only a few months before they were sold out. Expanding our campground area is just another example of how we remain dedicated to providing exceptional entertainment value to our fans, which enables us to satisfy our their needs and continue to grow each year."

Alexander added, "Being able to sell out our season tickets and RV parking just reinforces the feedback we've been getting over the past eight years about the growth and popularity of motorsports in this market. The Chicago area is a proud sports community, and we're pleased that we have established ourselves as a premier sporting venue in a city that is so rich in tradition and history."

Chicagoland Speedway will kick off the 2008 season on Thursday with the McDonald’s Big Mac Pole day, followed by the Dollar General 300 Powered by Coca-Cola NASCAR Nationwide race on Friday. All of the action wraps up on Saturday evening with the LifeLock.com 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race.

Chicagoland Speedway tickets also include admission to the September 6-7 ARCA/IRL weekend, featuring the 300-mile PEAK Antifreeze and Motor Oil Indy 300 (IRL IndyCar Series) on Sun., Sept. 7, along with the Chicagoland 100 (IRL Indy Pro Series), and the Chicagoland ARCA 200 (ARCA RE/MAX Series) on Sat., Sept. 6.
