Track Packs for the 2006 season at Chicagoland Speedway are now on sale to the general public. Track Packs can be purchased at the Chicagoland Speedway Ticket Office, by phone at 815-727-RACE (7223) or online at A Track Pack for Chicagoland Speedway’s 2006 season, which ranges in price from $195 to $260, includes admission to five (5) races over two (2) event weekends. The NASCAR weekend returns with the USG DUROCK® 300 NASCAR Busch Series race on Saturday, July 8, and the USG SHEETROCK® 400 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race on Sunday, July 9. The 2006 season will conclude with the ARCA/IRL weekend, which includes the S•K Hand Tool 200 ARCA RE/MAX Series race and the Chicagoland 100 IRL® Indy Pro Series™ race on Saturday, Sept. 9, followed by the PEAK Antifreeze Indy 300 Presented by Mr. Clean — the last race of the season for the IRL® IndyCar® Series — on Sunday, Sept. 10. 2005 Track Pack holders and race fans on the 2006 Track Pack Wait List had the first opportunity to purchase and add seats for the 2006 season. Due to the renewal rate and the amount of fans on the waiting list, the “Finish Line Mid” section is no longer available, and other sections are close to becoming unavailable as well. But great seats are still available, and the state-of-the-art design of the grandstands, track and infield allow excellent sightlines of the entire racing surface from every seat in the grandstands. “It’s exciting how much the demand for motorsports continues to grow in the Chicago area every year,” said Matthew Alexander, vice president/general manager of Chicagoland Speedway. “Renewals for 2006 track packs were higher than ever before, so we encourage race fans to purchase now before tickets once again become unavailable.” In addition to 2006 Track Packs, Recreational Vehicle passes for the season, as well as Friday Practice/Qualifying tickets for NASCAR weekend, will also go on sale to the general public on Feb. 20. A Friday general admission event ticket for NASCAR weekend is $15 for adults and free for children 12 and under, and includes USG Pole Day as well as the USAC Silver Crown Series race that evening. The 2006 September ARCA/IRL weekend is a two-day event, with no Friday ticket for sale. There are five options for RVs in 2006: Infield Trackside (electric and non-electric); Infield Non-Trackside (electric and non-electric); Speedway Ridge; Lower Ridge (new this year); and Family Land Campground (new this year). RV spots range from $350 to $2,900. Because of the high number of fans on the 2006 RV Wait List, Infield and Speedway Ridge are no longer available. Call 815-727-RACE (7223) or visit for more information about Track Packs, RV Spots or Friday Pole Day tickets for NASCAR weekend at Chicagoland Speedway. ###
