Local Area Businesses Given Chance to be ‘Official Small Business of the Race'

Delray Beach, Fla., June 13, 2005 – Thanks to Office Depot, small businesses in the Chicago area are getting the chance to promote their company in a unique and exciting way. Office Depot (NYSE:ODP), a leading global provider of office products and services and the "Official Office Products Partner of NASCAR" is offering Chicago area small businesses the opportunity to be named the "Office Depot Official Small Business of the Race" for the USG Sheetrock 400 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race at Chicagoland Speedway.

As the "Office Depot Official Small Business of the Race," the winning small business will have its company name featured on the No. 99 Office Depot Ford, driven by Carl Edwards in the USG Sheetrock 400 at Chicagoland Speedway on July 10 (NBC 3 p.m.) The winner will also receive a $1,000 Office Depot Shopping Spree, a VIP NASCAR Nextel Cup weekend experience at the race and a small business makeover featuring apparel and an office facility upgrade courtesy of Cintas.
