ILLINOIS NATIVE RECOVERING FROM SERIOUS DAYTONA INJURY

ARCA RE/MAX Series driver, and Illinois native, Billy Venturini, who was injured in Saturday’s Advance Discount Auto Parts 200 at Daytona Int’l Speedway, has undergone a successful surgical procedure to repair a serious neck fracture and remains at Halifax Medical Center.

Billy has been outfitted with a head and neck Halo and is expected to be released from the hospital later this week. After his release Billy will travel back to Concord, North Carolina where he will begin rehabilitation.

Billy would like everyone to know that he is grateful for all the support and well wishes. His spirit is extremely high and looks forward to making a full recovery.
