After finishing a respectable, and clean 21st place finish at Daytona International Speedway last Friday night, Hermie Sadler and his SCORE Motorsports team returns to the Superspeedway looking to kick off their second half of the season in a positive way.

After posting disappointing times in practice all throughout last week, Sadler qualified his Zapf Creation Pontiac Grand Prix 27th in the 43 car starting field for the 18th event of the 2004 season.

On the start, Sadler quickly found a draft, and while it wasn?t the front draft, it was the mid-pack draft which provided some of the most excitement of the night. Sadler, the former ARCA RE/MAX Series driver kept his nose clean throughout the night, barley avoiding the big one just past halfway and drafted home to a 21st place finish.

Heading into Chicagoland Speedway, Sadler has no prior NASCAR Busch Series starts.

The SCORE Motorsports team will invade the track this weekend, looking for their first top-ten finish of the season. The team has obviously had a few obstacles this season, but as the season has progressed the team continues to learn, and everyone feels after the solid runs lately, the team is nearing their full potential.

Sadler dropped one position in the NASCAR Busch Series standings to 23rd. A top-ten finish on Saturday afternoon would allow the team to retain the position they lost while gaining points and possible positions in the race for the championship.

The FanZCar? which played the associate sponsor role last Friday night will jump to the hood this weekend and play the role as primary. In addition, Zapf Creation, and Jenkins & Jenkins Law Firm will join the No. 02 machine as associate sponsors this weekend.

In addition to competing in the NASCAR Busch Series event, Sadler will also compete in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series event on Sunday. Hermie, a former NBS Rookie-of-the-Year winner hopes to make his sixth Cup start of the season in the Tropicana 400. The FanZCar? will be an associate sponsor on the No. 02 Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

Jerome Edge, Michael Oracko, Richard Nemeth, Ronald Nagel, Jacqualine Hedges, and Mark Hedges will have a huge week ahead of them. These members will be at Chicagoland representing The FanZCar? and cheering on Hermie Sadler.

Rolling into the "Windy City" Sadler has 244 NASCAR Busch Series starts to his record, 2 wins, 18 top-fives, 44 top-tens, three poles, and has achieved $2,505,464 in career earnings.

The Tropicana Twister 300 is the 19th of 34 events on the 2004 NASCAR Busch Series schedule. Practice and qualifying are on the agenda this Friday, July 9th with the 200-lap/300 mile race set to take the green flag Saturday, July 10th. NBC will air the event live beginning at 2:00PM EST, with MRN handling the airwaves starting at 1:30 PM EST. The race will also be available via XM radio channel 144 starting at 1:00pm.
