Demand was so great for the initial offering of the Founders P.A.S.S. seats, Chicagoland Speedway announced today the expansion of their premier seat offering to include additional Sky Tower and Tower seat locations. Chicagoland Speedway filled the original Founders P.A.S.S. (Preferred Access Speedway Seating) Sky Tower and Tower seat offering just weeks after they went on sale to the public. The state-of-the-art, 1.5-mile tri-oval facility will seat 75,000 race fans when it opens in the summer of 2001. The speedway design also includes suites, hospitality chalets, RV Parking and many other fan amenities to insure a world-class facility in Joliet, IL. Founders P.A.S.S seats provide racing fans the ability to pay a one-time fee and secure the best seat locations at the track, as well as to acquire special benefits otherwise not available to the general public, including the only way to guarantee renewal rights. Founders P.A.S.S. seats are stadium style chair seats personalized with an individual or company name. Privileges include access to preferred parking areas, listing in the inaugural souvenir program, guaranteed renewal rights and invitations to special events including track tours and Meet Your Seat Day. "Our research indicated demand for NASCAR and IRL's top series would be significant. But the response to the P.A.S.S. offering has exceeded even our expectations. We are thrilled to offer more seats in these prime locations to accommodate the demand." Joie Chitwood III, Vice President/General Manager, Raceway Associates LLC. Chicagoland Speedway continues to accept applications for all Founders P.A.S.S. seats, including Club seat locations. Founders P.A.S.S. seat applications may be made in person at the Chicagoland Speedway Ticket Office, 3200 S. Chicago Street in Joliet, by phone, 815-727-RACE, or by mail. Information is also available at www.chicagolandspeedway.com. Founders P.A.S.S. seats will be offered only in the premier viewing sections of the grandstands at the speedway. Club seat P.A.S.S. prices are $1,500, Sky Tower seats are $750 and Tower seats are $500. The four race ticket package is expected to range between $300-$400 annually for Club seats, $250-$300 for Sky Tower seats and $225-$275 for Tower seats.
